ERIA, the corporate venturing vehicle of the Estabanell group, has opened the call for the second edition of its acceleration program, aimed at startups in pre-seed and seed stages in the energy sector.
Cuatro retos de innovación para startups
Power generation: Maximizing production 24/7
Optimize renewable energy production by integrating sources such as wind and photovoltaic with hybrid storage systems, and improve the profitability of power plants.
Power distribution: Autonomous grid operation with AI
Develop solutions based on artificial intelligence to improve the operational efficiency of power grids, reduce the need for manual intervention and adapt to fluctuations in demand and generation.
Energy commercialization: EaaS (Energy as a Service) services for B2C
Transforming the consumer experience with flexible and sustainable energy management models, powered by connected devices and battery storage.
Energy Trading: Carbon Neutrality Services for B2B
Develop comprehensive solutions to help companies reduce their CO₂ emissions, meet climate targets and generate value through sustainability.
Equity-free acceleration with financing and contact with a real environment
Each startup will have high-level mentors, experts from the AtticoLab network and the Estabanell Group, who will provide strategic advice, guidance in their business model, help in defining their value proposition, connection with potential customers or investors, and support in their commercial and operational strategy.
Selection process and key dates
Interested startups can register until April 14 through the ERIA website. They must complete a form that will evaluate, among other aspects, their maturity, business model, challenge solution, technologies and team. The selected projects, which will be announced on May 12, will start their participation in the acceleration program with a Bootcamp on May 19-20.
Josep Solé, Director of ERIA, underlines Estabanell’s commitment to open innovation and sustainability: “We support startups with disruptive solutions that drive the transformation of the energy sector. For Estabanell, this program is yet another key step towards innovation and excellence, because it allows us to learn about and integrate cutting-edge technologies in energy, while facilitating collaboration with startups.”
